Orsolya Szakály
Our regular guests already know her: Orsolya Szakály from Hungary. The tourism expert has been an indispensable part of the Miramar Resort since 2021 and has gained a lot of insight into the wishes and needs of our guests during this time.
Her new role as Managing Director of Miramar d.o.o. fills Orsolya with great joy and she wants to do everything she can to ensure that her guests feel just as comfortable in her home by the sea as they do now. Having worked in her family's restaurant from an early age, Orsolya is passionate about tourism and service!
The beauty of Opatija inspires Orsolya every day anew! The newly-qualified doctor of economics finds the unique location of the Miramar Wellness Resort on the famous Lungomare particularly romantic - especially when she surprises her husband János and takes him for a walk along the enchanting coastal promenade!

Valentina Madejski
Valentina has been head of the HR department at Miramar for three years and is responsible for all matters relating to the workforce. Her precise way of working ensures that the 125 employees feel safe in their workplace and is one of the reasons for the great trust they place in their employer.

Tea has been looking after our guests since 2007 - initially in service, later at reception. In 2016, she took over the management of reception and looks after you throughout your stay at the Hotel Miramar. Tea and her team will provide you with lots of tips for excursions, boat trips, hikes and discovery tours.

Matko has been leading our kitchen brigade as Chef de Cuisine since 2021! Matko has always been attached to the culinary traditions of his Mediterranean homeland, but does not hesitate to emphasize them again and again with new flavors and thus surprise our guests in the most pleasant way!

Housekeeper
Vesna Kalinić
Housekeeper Vesna regularly lends a hand herself. Since 2014, Vesna has been in charge of her 25-strong brigade of maids, cleaners and laundresses and meticulously ensures that the entire hotel area is clean and tidy. Vesna is happiest when our guests feel at home in their room!

Technical manager
Mislav Klić
Mislav is our technical manager at Hotel Miramar. His team of 12 employees is responsible for the maintenance of the entire hotel area. He keeps an eye on everything every day, copes with difficult situations and carries out his tasks with the utmost conscientiousness, care and expertise. He is characterized by his calm manner.
